Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the flasher which is so constituted that the liquid drops having failed to be separated in the lower chamber of a flasher body parted to upper and lower to two chambers are captured in the upper chamber and by which the saturated steam of high dryness is obtained despite the small size as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid is reduced 1 of pressure and is evaporated to vapor which is then led through an inlet nozzle 2 into a separating chamber 11, where the greater portions of the liquid drops in the steam are collied against the shell wall 7 of the body and are flowed down to the bottom 6 along the shell wall 7. The liquid accumulated in the bottom 6 is discharged 9 to outside the body 4. On the other hand, the vapor having been removed of liquid drops is sent upward and is led into a capturing chamber 12 through a communicating pipe 13. In this chamber 12, first the steam is collided against a baffle plate 14 and the liquid drops of relatively large diameters are stuck on the plate 14 and are thereby captured. The vapor having been captured and removed of the liquid drops is further passed through the wire mesh 15 in the upper part, where the liquid droplets of relatively small sizes are captured with the mesh 15. The vapor having been removed of the liquid droplets is sent out through vapor outlet pipe 8 into the next equipment.
