Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve mechanical strength by providing a concave part in an insulating substrate, by partially exposing a lead terminal on the main flat surface of the concave part, and by fixing the lead-out terminals of a quartz oscillator to the exposed part conductively.
CONSTITUTION: In insulating substrate 11, a concave part is made and fixed terminals 41 and 42 are formed by partially exposing lead terminals 12 and 13 on the main plane of the concave part to obtain terminal substrate 500. Next, electrodes 2 and 3 and lead-out electrodes 4 and 5 are provided, opposing mutually, on the main surface of quartz oscillator element 1 to constitute quartz oscillator 100, which is contained in the concave part of terminal substrate 500. Next, lead-out electrodes 4 and 5 and fixed terminals 41 and 42 are fixed conductively to form quartz oscillator 100 and terminal substrate 500 in one body.
