Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a detecting circuit that facilitates impedance matching, has a high gain and is less in distortion, by obtaining a demodulated signal from a common emitter by supplying two outputs of differential amplifiers to bases of two common emitter type connected transistors. CONSTITUTION:Differential amplifiers (Q1, Q2, R2, and R3) have resistance R1 as a constant current source and an input signal is applied to bases of detecting transistors Q5 and Q6. Transistor Q7 as an impedance converter connects an output AM-detected by trnsistors Q5 and Q6 to low-pass filter (R12, C2). Detecting transistors Q5 and Q6 are turned on by turns with outputs of trnsistors Q1 and Q2 and specially in case of IC-implementation, detection operation that outputs a detection output after smoothing by the parasitic capacity between the emitters of transistors Q5 and Q6 and the earth potential is provided. Consequently, the electric power of higher harmonics generated in the detection is small, which is advantageous to whistle ratio characteristics, etc.
