Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition imparting a coating not foamed even if a thick coating is formed and not yellowed even if baked at a high temp., comprising a specific polyester resin, a blocked polyisocyanate and a p-hydroxybenzoic acid glycidyl ester ether modified substance.
CONSTITUTION: To 100pts.wt. of (A) a mixture comprising 60W97wt% of (a) a polyester resin with a hydroxyl value of 15W100mg KOH/g, an acid value of 20mg KOH/g or less and a softening point of 70W150°C containing an aromatic dibasic acid as a main acid component and 40W3wt% of (b) a blocked polyisocyanate or a mixture of 80W95wt% of (a) component and 20W5wt% of (b') an amino resin, 0.5W20pts.wt. of (B) a p-hydroxybenzoic acid glycidyl ester ether modified substance with a softening point of 50W150°C and an epoxy eq. of 300W3,000 obtained by reacting p-hydroxybenzoic acid glycidyl ester ether modified substance with a softening point of 50W150°C and an epoxy e.g. of 300W3,000 obtained by reacting p-hydroxybenzoic acid glycidyl ester ether) shown by the formula (wherein n is 0≤n<10) and a compound having two or more active hydrogen atoms in a molecule in the presence of a basic catalyst is compounded.
