Abstract

PURPOSE: An N-(4-antipyril)aniline derivative or its salt is used as a substrate to determine hydrogen peroxide in the presence of peroxidase with high sensitivity.
CONSTITUTION: An N-(4-antipyril)aniline derivative of the formula (R1 is hydroxyl, amino, 1W5C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, mono- or disubstituted amino having phenyl groups; R2 is H, 1W5C alkyl, sulfone, carboxyl) or its salt and peroxidase are added to a sample containing hydrogen preoxide and the reaction is effected to form a coloring compound, which is determined by the absorptiometeric method in a specific wave length.
