Abstract

PURPOSE: To contract and unite a blade ring with a presintered axle member by heating both of the axle member and the blade ring not sintered wherein the axle member is provided.
CONSTITUTION: A flanged disc 1 is manufactured by sintering ceramic mixed powder consisting of Si3N4 as the principal ingredient, for example Si3N4 of 90% Y2O3 of 7%, and Al2O3 of 3%, in a nitrogen atmosphere by using a hot press. Silicon nitride is mixed with yttrium oxide, aluminum oxide and ammonium alginic acid and the resultant slurry is molded into a blade ring 2. After the ring 2 is presintered in a nitrogen atmosphere, the ring 2 is set around the periphery of the disc 1 and heated in nitrogen atmosphere. As the sintering of the blade ring 2 is proceeded, it contracts to join with the disc 1.
