Abstract

PURPOSE: To make positioning of material highly accurate and prevent its damaging by moving a small rod by the movement of a large rod pressed by an upper die and a lower die thereby detaching the pilot pin from the material.
CONSTITUTION: On descending of an upper die 1, the tip of a pilot pin 2 faces the pilot hole and slightly moves the material 3 with the tapered part to position the material at a normal diameter; at the same time, a stripper 11 forces in the material 3. Further, the upper die 1 descends to force a large rod 23 downward, then the hydraulic fluid of a large cylinder 22 flows into a small cylinder 19 which in turn forces up a small rod 20, by the top end whereof the pilot pin 2 is forced upward. The pilot pin 2 goes out from the material 3 and in turn the material 3 goes out from a pin 3 and the material 3 is continued of working by a punch 9. The material 3 is then blanked by the punch 9 and die 10. When the upper die 1 begins to ascend from the lower dead point, the small rod 20 is pressed downward by a spring 21, and the large rod 23 is reset upward by a spring 24.
