Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to resist against a horizontal force upon a low-temperature contraction and an earthquake by a method wherein a cylindrical steel plate is penetrated through a concrete wall and a footing to fasten both of them rigidly. CONSTITUTION:A lower end portion of a concrete wall 3 is kept away apart from a footing portion 2 and a cylindrical steel plate 5 is penetrated through the concrete wall 3 and the footing portion 2. Accordingly, both of them are fastened rigidly, therefore, if a stress in the horizontal direction comming from a contraction due to a contact between the concrete wall 3 and low-temperature liquefied gas or an earthquake is affected thereto, an equilibrium may be maintained and thereby both of them can resist against the stress.
