Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify an air-fuel ratio controller and to obtain a more proper air- fuel ratio by providing a throttle valve full admission detecting means and large load detecting means, and generating the fuel increase signal when both detection outputs are generated.
CONSTITUTION: Provided are a throttle valve full admission detecting means 1 that generates a throttle valve full admission signal when the throttle valve is totally open, and a large load detecting means 2 that generates a large load signal when the engine has a large load. Both signals are added to an AND circuit 3, which adds its output signal through a buffer circuit 4 to an increase signal generating circuit 5 when both signals are gnerated. Consequently, the increase signal is generated only when both the load is large and the throttle valve is totally open. Said permits a more proper air-fuel ratio to be obtained than the case in which a throttle valve switch is used alone.
