Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable setting of die temperature in wide range by means of heater chambers respectively provided on a water passge leading to the die from a supply port and a water passage leading to a drain port from the die. CONSTITUTION:When the dies 1 and 2 are maintained at the intended temperature, temperature sensors 10 and 11 are set to open the supply port 4 to feed cooling water and heater chambers 7 and 8 are actuated to work a water feeding pump 9. Hot water heated circulates through the heater chamber 7, the heater chamber 8 and the dies 1 and 2 to maintain the temperature of the dies at the desired level. If the temperature of the dies 1 and 2 rise, the temperature sensor 10 operates to open a solenoid valve 5 so that cooling water flows in from the feed port 4 to cool them. At this point, a rise in the internal pressure of the passage connecting the heater chambers 7 and 8 and the dies 1 and 2 elevates the boiling point thereby enabling the setting of the temperature above 100 deg.C.
