Abstract

PURPOSE: To lighten the current load share of thyristors and to reduce a harmonic component by performing control so that the transfer time of each rectifier may shift each other.
CONSTITUTION: The first rectifier MCR1 is controlled by a firing angle α and the second and third rectifiers, MCR2 and MCR3, are fired to make thyristors a diode condition. Transfer is performed between the right side arms and left side arms of thyristor bridges every 1.5 cycles to lighten the current load share of thyristors TH21WTH34. On the other hand, the transfer of the second and third rectifiers, MCR2 and MCR3, is controlled to shift by 0.5 cycles respectively and driving operation is executed.
