Abstract
PURPOSE: To continuously monitor the consumption of life of the moving blade of a turbine through a steam turbine moving blade lifetime monitoring device for a nuclear power plant, by setting the on-line correspondence of the operating state of a measured appliance in a stage in which the moving blade of the turbine is likely to undergo erosion due to water drops or corrosion.
CONSTITUTION: An equivalent vibrational stress calculator 1 computes equivalent vibrational stress from a vibrational stress and the tensile strength of a material when there is no stationary stress. A corrected vibrational stress calculator 2 computes a corrected vibrational stress on the basis of the rate of change in fatigue strength due to the quantity of erosion, the quantity of corrosion and temperature. The equivalent vibrational stress calculator 1, a corrected vibrational stress calculator 2, an allowable repetition number calculator 3, a life consumption quantity calculator and a integrated life consumption quantity calculator are connected to an on-line apparatus to continuously monitor the consumption of life of a moving blade due to fatigue.
