Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a multiple charging electrode plate structure which is simple and in which there is no interference between charging electrodes, by coating an insulating material on a metal plate which has holes or openings and by making electroconductive patterns on the insulating material and forming the charging electrodes at the holes or openings. CONSTITUTION:Holes 7 are made in a metal plate 5. After resin is coated on the plate, patterns 5 for charging signals and patterns 6 for grounding are alternately provided. Through hole plating is effected on the hole sections 7 so that they serve as charging portions. This results in providing multiple charging electrodes which are completely shielded from each other and have a simple construction and do not interfere with each other. Therefore, a printing position does not deviate due to the influence of a voltage applied to adjacent charging electrodes and the quality of printing is improved.
