Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the yield on production of a photoelectric face and make it sufficient if scanning in one direction (horizontal direction) at a fixed period is performed on a basis of the synchronizing signal, by providing a polyhedral reflection mirror, an image sensor, and a synchronizing signal generator. CONSTITUTION:The optical image from an object is supplied to reflection plate 2 after focused by lens 1 and is reflected to polyhedral reflection mirror 3. Polyhedral reflection mirror 3 reflects the light from reflection plate 2 to image sensor 5. In sensor 5, object images irradiated to photoelectric conversion elements 6, 6... are changed momentarily; and when electric signals converted by photelectric conversion elements 6, 6... are taken out sucessively on a basis of the synchronizing singal from synchronizing signal generator 8, signals decomposed to scanning lines are obtained equivalently. By this method, only arrangement of approximately several hundreds of photoelectric conversion elements into an in-line is required as the image sensor, so that the yield can be improved. Further, it is sufficient if scanning in one direction at a fixed period is performed on a basis of the synchronizing signal, so that the scanning means can be simplified very much.
