Abstract

PURPOSE: To make small the unit in size, by forming gap of magnetic field toward radial direction through the combination of the ring shape permanent magnet and yoke magnetized radially or making notch to a part of the permanent magnet axially, and providing the concentric moving coil linked to the lens moving part in the gap.
CONSTITUTION: The permanent magnet 11 is radially magnetized and the yokes 12a, 12 respectively in contact with the inner and outer circumferences are provided. The magnetic field toward radial direction is present in the gap and the coil 14 is located in it. The lens moving part 15 supported with the springs 13, 13a is linked to the moving coil 14. Or, the moving coil 34 is provided in the gap 31a given with the notch axially for a part of the permanent magnet 31 magnetized radially and it is linked with the lens moving section 35 supported with the springs 33, 33a. The automatic adjustment of focus is made by the current flowing to the moving coils 14 and 34. Thus, the unit can be made small in size.
