Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the speed of revolution during one revolution as a DC voltage in a wide range of an angle of 360 deg., by using a two-pole rotor of which the width of one polar arc is made narrower than the other, and a stator of which the circular core is wound with a winding except for a part thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a field rotor 2 formed of a permanent magnet, a magnetic pole 2b magnetized to be an N pole is projected from the outer periphery of a disc-shaped magnetic pole 2a constituting an S pole. The polar arc of the projected pole 2b is selected to be as small as possible and the center angle thereof is beta deg.. A stator 3 surrounding the rotor 2 concentrically has a circular core 3a which is wound uniformly with a coil 3b except for a part of its circumference forming an angle alpha deg.. The angle alpha deg. is slightly larger than the angle beta deg. and a magnetic flux formed by the magnetic pole 2b is in interlinkage to a coil 3b within the range of an angle of 360 deg.-alpha deg.-beta deg. (about 300 deg.). Therefore, a positive DC voltage corresponding to an angular speed is obtained between terminals A and B within this range.
