Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a highly efficient air conditioner using a hot-air heater and a radiant floor heater in combination, by detecting the temperature on the floor surface of the radiant floor heater, and controlling the capacity of hot-air heating automatically in response to the temperature on the floor surface.
CONSTITUTION: A thermistor 30 serves as means for detecting the temperature on the floor surface of an electric carpet 2 and a thermostat 31 controls energization of a relay 31R which controls operation of the electric carpet 2 in response to the output of thermistor 30. Another thermostat 32 serves as a capacity setter for determining the heating capacity of a FF air warmer 1 depending on the output of thermistor 30. A relay 32R is controlled by the output of thermostat 32 and controls interruption of operation of air warmer 1. Further, another relay 32P is controlled by a second output of the thermostat 32 and functions as means for controlling the heating capacity of FF air warmer 1 by controlling a solenoid valve 1A which serves as means for controlling the heating capacity of FF air warmer 1.
