Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture brazed joint of high reliability, having no voids, by heating a joint at a specific temp., then by heating the joint in an inert gas atmosphere to a temp. not lower than the temp. of the liquid phase of the brazing material. CONSTITUTION:A portion near the connecting part of Cu or Cu allowy base material which is formed into a joint, or the whole base material is heated to <=300 deg.C temp. range in the air. When the temp. of the base material is raised to >=300 deg.C temp., inert gas such as Ar is introduced and the base material is heated to a temp. not lower than the liquid phase temp. of the phosphorus-copper brazing material. Hereby, the infiltration length of the brazing material is increased and flawless brazed joint having few voids is manufactured.
