In this case, amplifier 20 is so controlled by automatic gain control circuit 23 that the output level of selecting amplifier 21 will be constant. As a result, the fundamental wave passing through selective amplidier 19 is also amplified to a constant level, so that even if the level of atomic resonator 1 falls, voltage-control crystal oscillator 8 can be controlled through phase detector 20.
