Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the air conditioning performance of an automobile air conditioner, by effecting compensation and control in a direction to increase the rotational frequency of a blower depending on sunshine. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of a set temperature setting unit and a passenger room temperature detector are compared with each other by a control circuit to pick out voltage A proportional to the difference between a set temperature td and the temperatue tr of a passenger room. Voltage B corresponding to a sunshine temperature is picked out on the basis of the difference between temperatures ts, ts' detected by the sunlight-irradiated temperature detection element and no-sunlight- irradiated temperature detection element of a sunshine detector. Both the outputs A, B are added together in an addition circuit to produce voltage C proportional to td-tr+ts'-ts. The voltage C is applied to an inversion amplifier and a non- inversion amplifier to produce outputs D, E which are restricted within a range between a lower limit voltage V1 and an upper limit voltage V2. The restricted outputs are applied to a blower to directly control its rotational frequency depending on sunshine. As a result, sunshine compensation is thus quickly effected.
