Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the unit decreased in the cost, by detecting the pressure difference between the vapor input header and the vapor output header of vapor overheater and measuring the flow rate of produced vapor with the signal.
CONSTITUTION: The main vapor produced at the boiler 8 is given to the high pressure turbine 1 from he overheater 83 via the main vapor stop valve 11 and the vapor adjusting valve 12 and given to the low pressure turbine 2 via the reheater 84 and reheat valve 14 and discharged to the condenser 5. The water of the condenser 5 is fed to the boiler 8 with the water supply pump 6 via the water preheater 7. The pressure difference detector 25 is placed between the vapor input header and the vapor output header of the overheater 83 to detect the pressure difference between input and output and to measure the amount of produced vapor with the known formula. Since no orifice is not required to provide to the main steam piping especially, the cost of the instrument control system of the heat power plant can remarkably be reduced.
