Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the drastic fall in pressure in a deaerator and the occurrence of a flushing, by providing a deaerator pressure regulating valve in a pipe for supplying auxiliary steam to the deaerator and by operating the valve depending on the difference between the real pressure in the deaerator and a pressure set point.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary steam pipe 13 is fitted with a deaerator pressure regulating valve 140. The degree of opening of the valve is regulated by a deaerator pressure controller 150. The pressure setting unit of the controller 150 comprises a condensed water flow rate transmitter 210 which amplifies the output signal of a condensed water flow meter 200 provided at the outlet side of a condensing pump 5 and supplies the amplified signal, and a calculator 220 which receives the output of the condensed water flow rate transmitter 210, changes a differential pressure signal into a flow rate signal and calculates a pressure set point for a deaerator on the basis of the flow rate signal. The pressure setting unit 230 controls the pressure set point applied to the deaerator pressure controller 150, depending on the flow rate of condensed water.
