Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative board with patterns rich in three dimensional feeling by forming thick patterns on a surface of a substrate board by a printing screen printer and, thereafter, forming separate printed patterns on said described patterns by a gravure offset printer.
CONSTITUTION: Firstly, on a surface of an appropriately desired substrate board 1 such as a plywood or a hardboard, thick patterns 2 are formed by a printing scree printer. In this case, as a paint to be used, various water soluble or emulsion type paint are preferred and the concn. of the unvolatile components thereof are pref. increased to the same level or more of a wood filler, for example, 60W85% by increasing an extender pigment especially and the thickness of patterns after the paint is dried is regulated to 100W300μ. Subsequently, printed patterns 5 are formed over a total surface on the patterns 2 by a gravure offset printer and, finally, a synthetic resin paint is coated on a total surface thereof to form a transparent coating 6. Thereby, distinct and beautiful appearance patterns can be formed as well as a decorative board having unique ornamental and three dimensional feeling is obtained.
