Conventional methods for manufacturing decorative materials with this type of three-dimensional effect include a mechanical method called so-called emboss processing, a method that uses differences in gloss to create a visual sense of unevenness, and a method that suppresses hardening by suppressing the hardening of the resin. A method of forming a concave portion in a portion where the foam is formed, a method of forming an unevenness by foaming and a combination of foaming and foaming suppression, etc. are known.

However, although the embossing method is possible either in the form of a sheet or in the state pasted on a base material, it is very surprising to create irregularities that match the design. In addition, there are methods that take advantage of differences in gloss, such as printing patterns using glossy ink and matte ink, or using paint-repellent ink for part of the pattern and applying glossy paint to the entire surface. If you use ink that absorbs paint on part of the design and apply glossy paint to the entire surface, the part that absorbs the paint becomes matte and creates a difference in gloss. Although there are methods for creating unevenness, these methods do not mean that the unevenness actually exists, but only give a visual impression of the unevenness. Therefore, depending on the viewing angle, the unevenness may not be felt at all, or when viewed from a distance, for example, if the Ihikyoku wood is used for a ceiling, the unevenness may be lost. In addition, methods to take advantage of resin curing inhibition include using ink containing a curing inhibitor on the pattern in the area where you want to form a recess, or using an ultraviolet curing paint to pattern the area in which you want to form a recess. Methods such as using ink containing ultraviolet absorbers are known, but they require special equipment and
There are drawbacks such as the resistance of the concave portions, that is, the portions where hardening is suppressed, is poorer than other portions, and there is also the drawback that the cost is high. In the method of using foaming, for example, the part of the design that you want to make into a convex part is printed with foaming ink and then foamed. Conversely, the sheet itself is impregnated with a foaming agent and a part of the design is foamed. There is a method in which the sheet is printed with an ink containing an inhibitor and the sheet is foamed, and the areas printed with the ink containing the foam inhibitor do not foam and form recesses, or a sheet whose foaming is suppressed by ultraviolet irradiation is used. There is a method in which a masked part and an irradiated part are formed on a sheet, the sheet is foamed after irradiation with ultraviolet rays, and only the masked part foams to form a convex part. However, this method has the disadvantage that all the foamed parts become porous surfaces, making it difficult to form smooth surfaces, and that sharp irregularities cannot be expressed. The present invention has been made to eliminate these drawbacks, and provides a method for easily and inexpensively producing a decorative material that has a three-dimensional effect that matches the design.

That is, when printing an arbitrary pattern, only the portion of the pattern that is desired to be a raised portion is raised and printed using a deep printing plate. The ink used at this time is preferably one with a high solid content and high viscosity, and may be an ordinary ink for gravure printing or a curable ink using a thermosetting resin as a binder. The plate depth is related to the solid content and viscosity of the ink used. For example, if a high viscosity ink can be used, a plate depth of about 200 mm can be used, and conversely, if a low viscosity ink is used, a shallow plate depth can be used. It is best to enhance it by printing it twice or thrice. Further, the color of the raised ink may be a desired color, and when the color is further printed on the raised portion, white ink, for example, may be used as the lower layer ink. The same applies to the gloss of the raised ink, either matte ink or glossy ink may be used, but if matte ink is used, it is necessary to further print glossy ink or glossy paint on top of it. Also, the raised printing can be applied at the beginning or at the end.
Furthermore, in order to create a difference in gloss between the raised part and other pattern parts or non-printed parts, for example, before the raised printing, a matte ink or a matte paint is applied to the entire surface. It is also possible to perform raised printing with glossy ink on top of that, or, if raised printing is performed with matte ink, to roughly overprint glossy ink or glossy paint only on the raised areas. Also, if you want to make the entire design glossy, including the design other than the raised areas, first apply matte ink or paint to the entire surface, and then apply the raised print on top of that. All designs can be printed using ink containing koji.

As the base material on which the pattern is applied, in addition to sheet-like base materials such as paper and synthetic resin films, plate-like base materials such as wood boards, inorganic boards, metal plates, and synthetic resin boards can be used.

When using paper, thick resin paper is used to increase the strength of the base paper.
It is also possible to improve the strength of the paper by using resin soaked paper or by coating the printed surface with thermosetting resin paint. Of course, instead of this thermosetting resin paint, a matte ink with a curing agent and a thermosetting resin as a binder can be used to both improve the strength of the paper and to print the pattern on the base. When a decorative material is produced using a sheet-like base material, it can also be laminated to a plate-like base material to form a decorative board.

The base material to be laminated can be wood, inorganic, metal, or
The material can be freely selected from among the synthetic resin base materials, and the adhesive can also be selected depending on the base material and the base paper of the decorative sheet. Both a laminator and a press can be used for lamination.
The design can be selected from woodgrain patterns, abstract patterns, marble patterns, geometric patterns, or any other design, including gravure printing,
It can be applied by screen printing or any other method.

Protecting the decorative surface may not be necessary depending on the application if, for example, hardening ink with a thermosetting resin as a binder is used for the entire design, but after the design is applied, the matte portions of the design,
It is sufficient to apply a surface resin layer to an extent that does not increase or decrease the gloss of each glossy part, and the surface resin can be a thermosetting resin transparent paint, a thermosetting resin colored transparent paint, a transparent ink using a thermosetting resin as a binder, Alternatively, it may be a transparent or colored transparent paint made of a thermoplastic resin such as an acrylic resin.

Further, the surface resin may be applied in the form of a decorative sheet or after being combined with the base material to form a decorative board. Example 1 Panel color ink manufactured by Toyo Ink Mfg. Next, a 150-1 screenless wood grain pattern plate was used for gravure printing using L663 ink manufactured by Toyo Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and then a three-color wood grain pattern was printed using a thermosetting gloss ink made by adding a coloring agent to Toyo Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd.'s UR690A varnish. provided. The version at this time is a deeper version than the regular version (first color:
45 Buddhas, 2nd color: 45 mountains, 3rd color: 60 Buddhas) were used. Next, a gravure version of 35 Buddhas made entirely by Toyo Ink.
The entire surface was printed with transparent reactive ink UR69M varnish manufactured by Manufacturer.

The resulting decorative material had a three-dimensional appearance in which the wood grain part was raised and the unevenness was emphasized by the difference in gloss between the wood grain part and other parts. Example 2 A 0.2-thick milky white PVC (plasticizer content 30%) was pasted onto a 4-thick plywood board using an ethylene-vinyl acetate adhesive (the amount of adhesive applied was 150 ml). / It was a good day.

Also, the fourth color ink is raised ink and is raised higher than the first and second color inks to create a difference in height. The resulting decorative board had a three-dimensional effect in which a part of the pattern was raised, and the difference in gloss between the raised part and other parts emphasized the unevenness.
