Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a measurement precision and shorten the measuring time, by using an amplitude modulation wave or a synthesized signal of two sine waves as the measuring signal to botain the average value of measurement level minute sections as a measurement value. CONSTITUTION:The output of sine wave oscillator 1 and the output of sine wave oscillator 2 are applied as a carrier wave and a modulation wave to modulator 3 respectively. The output of modulator 3 has the needless wave suppressed by band pass filter 4 and is adjusted to a prescribed level by variable resistance attenuator 5 and is applied to measured system 6. The signal to which change corresponding to the characteristic of the system is given by measured system 6 is applied to level measuring circuit 11 through band pass filter 10. Level measuring circuit 11 compares the average level of the output signal of measured system 6 with the level for switching of switches 8 and 9 to the variable resistance attenuator 7 side, thereby measuring the characteristic.
