Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform the rejection of FM-multi-path distortion in excellent manner, by calculating the delay time of FM multi-path interference wave from te calculated value when the amplitude modulation component is detected as almost zero with the AM detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:The low band conversion signal obtained by adding the FM input signal to the mixer 4 is delayed 6, the amplitude of the output is adjusted with the amplitude adjusting circuit 7, this signal adjusted is synthesized with the output of mixer with the synthesizer 8 and the interruption component is rejected, and the amplitude modulation component is detected with the AM detection circuit 9. The oscillator 38 counts 40 the clock signal when the amplitude modulation component is detected, and the delay amount of the circuit 6 and the set amplitude value of the circuit 7 are set corresponding to the given value. Further, the circuit 9 calculates the delay time of the FM multi-path interference wave form the count value when the amplitude modulation component is detected as almost zero. Thus, the rejection of th FM multi-path distortion can be made in excellent manner.
