Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the increment of the number of control circuits to the increase of the common bus, by providing the common bus use request line to the several units connected to the several common buses along with the request display FF, the bus use display FF and the bus use permission gate each provided to each unit.
CONSTITUTION: The units 104W109 perform the communication via common buses 102 and 103, and the control circuits of the common buses are distributed to each unit. When units 104W109 carry out the communication with other units, the bus signal request signal is delivered to the bus use request line 101. For the priority to decide the use of the common bus, unit 104 is ranked highest to become lower down to the lowest-rank unit 109. Each unit, when using one of the buses 202 and 203, incorporates the FF to supply the signal to line 101, the bus use display FF to show the use or nonuse of the common bus and the bus use permission gate to transmit the common bus use permission signal to the lower-rank units in response to the bus use display FF respectively. As a result, the multiplex bus can be controlled just by one piece of the request signal line without increasing the number of control circuits and in spite of the increment of the common buses.
