Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out the uniform painting without discoloring in low energy by a method wherein an aluminum extruded and molded material is vertically suspended to a longitudinal direction and subjected to the inorg. electrolytic coloration and, after immersed in a paint, connected to an anode and a lower end of a cathode is positioned to an upper part of a lower end of the extruded and molded material to carry out the painting at low voltage.
CONSTITUTION: An aluminum extruded and molded material is subjected to the inorg. electrolytic coloration by electrolyzing in an aqueous solution containing at least one or more of an oxyacid salt and a halogen complex of selenium or an oxyacid salt, an org. acid salt and a complex of silver. Subsequently, said aluminum material is immersed in a water soluble or a water dispersible paint of an acrylic resin or an alkyd resin and connected to an anode. The lower end of the cathode is positioned above at least 50cm from a lower end of the extruded and molded material in a paint bath. The voltage when DC is passed is low voltage of 10W45V (especially, 15W35V) and a current passing time is appropriately 1W80min (especially, 3W10min). After painting, this painted material is drained for 8W15min and dried by heating.
