Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Salts of 4-amino-6-halogeno-3-phenylpyridazines represented by formula I (HY is mineral acid, sulfonic acid; X is halogen; R1, R2 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, when either of R1 and R2 is H, the other is lower alkyl or lower alkenyl of 2 or more carbon atoms).
USE: Antibacterial for agriculture and horticulture: they have high antibacterial activity, in particular show remarkable controlling effect on plant diseases caused by Basidiomycetes such as rice sheath blight.
PREPARATION: They are obtained by reaction of a compound of formula III with an acid such as hydrochloric, sulfuric, phosphoric or methanesulfonic acid in the absence or presence of an inert solvent such as acetone or ether.
