Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep constant the distance between an antenna substrate and reflecting plate without reference to external force while minimizing the thickness size and weight, by bonding metal foil to one side of a dielectric plate and by fixing the other side to the antenna substrate to using the above-mentioned metal foil as the reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:On one side of antenna substrate 1 made of a dielectric, earth conductor film 3 with slot 2 is formed and on the other side, strip conductor 4 is further formed to constitute a microstrip feed type slot antenna. Then, metal foil 8 is bonded to one side of dielectric 7 similar to antenna substrate 1 and face 7a of dielectric plate 7 where metal foil 8 does not reside is fixed on either face of antenna substrate 1, e.g. earth conductor film 3, thereby using metal foil 8 as the reflecting plate.
