CONSTITUTION:Monopole antenna 1 of horizontal length 1/4 is coupled with ferrite bar 3, which is arranged vertically near the output end of antenna 1, by coupling coil 2. Ferrite bar 3 has the tank circuit consisting of coil 4 and variable capacitor 5, and the output of coil 4 is output through transformer 6 and balun 7. The other end of coil 2 is connected to the ground side of the output of balun 7. By forming the composite antenna of the dipole antenna and the ferrite antenna in this manner, a small-size and high-gain antenna for FM waves can be obtained.
