Abstract

PURPOSE: The buffer which can effectively relax without reducing the press force of the press, by installing the hydraulic fluid chambers on both of the blanking punch side and the buffer piston side being energized by the spring, and by communicating these two chambers by filling them with the liquid flow.
CONSTITUTION: The area A1 of the piston being fixed to the blanking punch side is made larger than the area A2 of the buffer piston side. When the slide goes down and the punch 4 touches the sheet material 5, the piston rod 8a touches the bottom face of the slide 1; when the slide 1 further goes down, and the punch 4 penetrates into the sheet material 5, the piston rod 8a is also pushed down, and the gap larger than the distance of the downward movement of the punch 4 is formed between the stepped part of the buffer cylinder 7 and the buffer piston; then the pressure fluid flows into this gap and the buffer piston is pushed down; hereby, the reaction force of the spring 9 against the slide 1 is relaxed.
