Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the skew response when a video tape recorder is used for TV receiver without being subject to external disturbance, by increasing the loop gain of the AFC circuit for the pulse period using the pulse in synchronizing with the vertical synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The phase comparison between the horizontal synchronizing signal from the horizontal synchronizing signal input terminal 1 and the saw tooth waveform at the horizontal synchronizing signal input terminal 1 and the saw tooth waveform at the horizontal output circuit 2 is made at the phase detection circuit 3, and after smoothing the output of the circuit 3 at the filter circuit 4, it is fed to the oscillator 6 via the resistor 5 and the frequency of the oscillator 6 is controlled with the output of the circuit 4. The output of the oscillator 6 is fed to the horizontal output circuit 2 to form the horizontal AFC unit. In parallel with the resistor 5 of output side of the filter circuit 4 of the horizontal AFC unit, the series circuit of the resistor 7 and the switching circuit transistors TR8, 9 is connected. Further, TR8, 9 are controlled with the pulse in synchronizing with the vertical synchronizing signal fed to the pulse applying terminal 12 and the loop gain of the AFC circuit is increased during the pulse period to prevent external disturbance.
