Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect a metal peeling rapidly with accuracy by flowing constant current between the 1st couple of contacts that come in two-point contact with a metal surface with a junction surface to be inspected and by comparing a voltage detected between the 2nd couple of contacts, meeting the surface at two points between the 1st couple of contacts, to a reference voltage through a computer.
CONSTITUTION: Sensor 1, consisting of two kinds of the 1st couple of contacts 12a and 12b and the 2nd couple of contacts 13a and 13b arranged on insulating support 11, is movable along a metal surface to be inspected by a pulse motor brought under the control of a computer. The 1st couple of contacts 12a and 12b, meeting the metal surface at two points, flow constant current, supplied from a constant current circuit, between two points. The 2nd couple of contacts 13a and 13b, coming in two-point contact with the metal surface between the 1st couple of contacts 12a 12b, detect a voltage between two points.
