Abstract
PURPOSE:To fix balance weights easily by a method wherein a circular body to which bosses for balance are formed in projecting shapes is manufactured by a material different from casting metal, and the circular body is buried into an end ring when casting in the end ring. CONSTITUTION:When a conductor bar 3A and an end ring 3 are formed by casting in high resistance aluminum, a circular body 10 along the end ring is made of a material such as pure aluminum different from casting metal, and bosses 4B for balance are made up in projecting shapes at proper intervals. The circular body 10 is arranged into a metallic mold with a core 1A, and buried into the end ring 3 when the end ring is built up by casting in the high resistance aluminum. Thus, the head portions of the bosses 4B are crushed and balance weights 6 can be fastened easily and firmly when installing the balance weights.
