Abstract
PURPOSE: A composition capable of stabilizing immunoblobulin useful for prevention and remedy for infectious diseases caused by virus and preventing the formation of aggregate for a long time, obtained by adding a water-soluble salt of nitrogen base organic compound having a dissociation constant not more than a specific value to immunoblobulin.
CONSTITUTION: 10W600wt%, preferably 20W400wt% water-soluble salt of nitrogen base organic compound (preferably guanidine hydrochloride) having a dissociation constant PKb {=-log(BH+)/[(B).(H+)] [(B) is concentration of the basic compound; (H+) is concentration of H+; (BH+) is concentration of conjugated acid]} not more than 7 is added to immunoglobulin. For example, the water- soluble salt is directly or in the form of an aqueous solution to a solution of immunoglobulin to give the desired composition.
