CONSTITUTION:Sulfur hexafluoride gas is reduced within a range in which the insulating characteristics is kept normal, nitrogen gas is added to form an insulating gas atmosphere, an X-ray tube is provided in the atmosphere, and an X-ray generator is fabricated. The amount of sulfur hexafluoride is reduced, thus decomposed products of poor insulation, which cause electric break downs attaching to the X- ray tube or other insulators and metals or reduces the stability of the X-ray tube, can be reduced. Furthermore, the effect can be increased by providing an adsorbent in the insulating gas atmosphere to form an X-ray generator with excellent life and stability.
