Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce vibrations of an engine proper by cancelling excitation forces generated by reciprocating motions of a piston and a plunger, which are balanced, of an engine which is used for a portable bush cutter, etc. CONSTITUTION:At a two-cycle engine 13 of a portable bush cutter, cylinders 16, 17 are provided on the upper and lower parts of a crank case 15, and a piston 18 of the engine 13 is inserted into the upper cylinder 16 and a plunger 19 of a reciprocating pump 12 is inserted into the lower cylinder 17. These piston 18 and plunger 19 are connected to a crank 23 through a connecting rods 24, 25, and a phase of each reciprocating motions is set to cancel each other the exciting force of each reciprocating motion. The engine 13 is mounted on the back end part of a main rod 10 which is equipped with a rotor casing at its top end, and the pump 12 feeds and discharges pressurized oil through tubes 46, 47 to turn the rotor, that is: rotary blades, in the rotor casing.
