Abstract
PURPOSE:To make possible speed reduction just before die mating and speed increase after its end by opening and closing, through piston movement, the hole communicating with the inside chamber of the piston at the front end of the speed reducing position adjusting rod inserted to the rear wall of the piston with the hole communicating with the inside chamber of the cylinder in the rear part of an inside empty chamber. CONSTITUTION:The ideal curve of die clamping cylinder speeds for the purpose of cycle-up of a molding machine is as shown in the figure. Because of this, solenoid valves 22, 25 are changed over by commands so that hydraulic fluid flows through pipelines 13, 20, into the head chamber 3 of a cylinder 1, the chamber 10 of a speed reducing position adjusting rid 5 port 11 the chamber 7 of a piston rod 6 port 9 the chamber 3. As a result, the piston 2 moves to the right of the figure; the hydraulic fluid of the chamber 4 is released into the tank through the port 16, and the rod 6 advances by a length L1 at a high speed V1. Then, the piston 11 is closed by the piston end wall 8 so that the oil in the chamber 10 is no longer flowed into the chamber 3, thus the speed is reduced to the speed V1' regulated by a throttle 15. After the advance by a length L2, the port 11 is opened and the rod 6 restores the high speed V1'' and reaches the stroke end.
