Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish automatic, continuous and multicolor prining, by attracting ink together with ink carrying metal powder onto a sheet to be printed by use of magnetic force after screen is superposed on the sheet.
CONSTITUTION: After paper 6 to be printed is placed on bed 5 and ink 3 containing ink carrying metal powder 4 is applied over the surface of screen 1, screen 1 is lowered until gelatin-cured negative 2 comes into contact with paper 6. In this state, a magnetizing means 8 having magnet 7, for instance, in the form of a squeegee is moved in the direction of arrow shown in the drawing. Since ink carrying metal powder 4 is attracted through magnetization of the bed 5, ink 3 is passed through metal screen 1 together with metal powder 4 and shifted into apertures H formed in gelatin original form 2. Here, if an electromagnetic means is used for magnetizing the bed 5, metal screen 1 is then moved upward after removing magnetic attractive force of bed 5 by stopping current supply, and resultantly, ink 3' is attracted onto paper 6 by its adhesive force. Thus, the image of orginal 2 is transferred onto paper 6.
