Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve manipulation in transmission greatly by temporarily storing read picture information and then by transmitting it to a read circuit on read and actuation. CONSTITUTION:Read signal processing part 15 amplifies and waveform-shapes the output of photoelectric converter 13 and further performs band-compression processing at need to send picture signal Sw to file control part 5. Control part 5 writes picture signal Sw on magnetic disk 6 and, when receiving an indication of a permit for reception sent from a party-side equipment via circuit 4 through transmission control part 2, reads picture signal Sw out of file 6 as picture signal SR, thereby sending it to circuit 4 via control part 2. In this case, picture signals SW and SR are unchangeable in signal array, but need not to agree in speed all the time, and consequently even when circuit 4 is low in speed, the scan of reader 1 can be increased in speed as much as possible. Further, since picture information is sent automatically even when the party-side unit becomes free, the manipulation of the transmission side improves remarkably.
