Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively purify by a simple equipment, by passing continuous body of copper material through a fixed three baths having the electrode connected with the same direct current power source, on occasion of electrolytically purifying the surface of said body.
CONSTITUTION: The continuous body of copper or copper alloy 1 is continuously passed through the treating vessels 2, 3 filled up the alkali bath and the treating vessel 4 fill up the copper soluble bath and then, the surface is purified. That is, the electrode 6 connected with positive side of the direct current power source 5, is impregnated in the vessel 2 and the body 1 is turned into cathode at the time of passing through the vessel 2 and then, cathodizing of the body 1 is performed. The electrode 7 connected with negative side of the source 5, is impregnated in the vessel 3 and the body 1 is turned into anode at the time of passing through the vessel 3 and then, anodizing of the body 1 is performed. The electrode 8 connected with negative power source, is impregnated in the vessel 4 and the body 1 is turned into the anode at the time of passing through the copper soluble bath and then, the surface is dissolved and purified.
