Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an exhaust gas sampler that can hold a filter part above a dew point temperature effectively by heating by providing a heat pipe that can be inserted into and extracted from an exhaust gas sampling tube and the filter part and then by making it possible to adjust the insertion and extraction positions.
CONSTITUTION: The quantity of received head of heat reception part 13 of heat pipe 3 varies greatly with the temperature of exhaust gas in a flue, and consequently the temperature in filter chamber 11 also varies greatly. To remove the inconvenience, it is made possible to insert and extract heat pipe 3 into and from protective tube 2 so as to adjust the effective length of heat reception part 13. For the purpose, adjusting metal 30 with a screw hole is fixed at the back end of protective tube 2 and support metal 31 is fixed to heat pipe 3.
