Abstract
PURPOSE:To mix an additive with a feed or raw material uniformly and efficiently, by preliminarily mixing a liquid additive with the feed or raw material therefor in a hopper, and circulating the resultant mixture through a silo. CONSTITUTION:A formula feed is preliminarily fed into a silo 1, and a shutter 26 is opened to flow the feed into a hopper 10. A liquid additive is fed a by a feeding part 22 to the feed in the hopper 10, and the preliminary mixing is carried out by screws 16 and 17. The feed fed forward by the lower screw 17 is fed into the bottom end of a conveyor 4, pushed up in the silo 1 by the conveyor 4, and then scattered from an outlet 8 in the silo 1. After the completion of the preliminary mixing, the shutter 26 is closed to flow the feed from an inlet 9 into the conveyor 4. The feed is further push up in the inside of the silo 1, and the circulation steps are repeated to disperse the additive in the feed or raw material therefor uniformly.
