Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform efficient loop network communication, by providing the means detecting the on/off of the by-pass route of each station and preventing the monitor malfunction of the control station, and by performing failure detection suitably and grasping the state of communication loop accurately.
CONSTITUTION: A control loop control station 17 in a control station CS transmits the loop monitor signal of format as shown in igure on a control line CL to collect the information about presence of usage of a by-pass route BR in each station DS. The data station DS detects a prescribed channel from the time slot assigned to itself to a loop monitor signal transmitted from the said station 17 and a flag is set if the by-pass route BR in the said data station DS is in use, and this is inserted as the status signal.
