Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize produced gases and improve production efficiency by providing a flow transfer pipe which transfers the flow of treating liquid into an upper tank and returns the same according to gaseous pressures.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of a square box type fermentation tank 11 is partitioned by a partition plate 12, to form an upper tank 13 and a lower tank 14, and further the tank 14 is partitioned by a pair of partition walls 16a, 16b provided with flow transfer ports 15a, 15b, whereby three chambers of fermentation subchambers 17aW 17c are formed. A pipe 18 for charging fermentation materials is located to face the subchamber 17a, and further the top end of a flow transfer pipe 21 is disposed above the tank 1. The flow transfer port 21a of its bottom end is located to face the subchamber 17a. A flow transfer port 21b facing the lower part of the tank 13 is provided on the way of the pipe 21, and a pipe 22 for gas removal is located to face the upper part of the subchamber 17b.
