PURPOSE:To ensure an automatic search for station with no jump of a broadcast channel where the boradcast electric wave exists, by discontinuing a change of the tuning voltage which is applied to an electronic tuner for a certain time when the tuning band is switched. CONSTITUTION:When the band of an electronic tuner 1 is switched, the signal is transmitted to a microcomputer 7 to discontinue an automatic search for station for a certain time through a deciding circuit 12 for a band switch signal and regardless of the output of a deciding circuit 5 for the presence or absence of a synchronous signal. The circuit 12 is set so that the time of discontinuation of the automatic search of station becomes longer than the time during which a tuning loop is stabilized. Thus an automatic search for station is carried out with no channel jumping.
