Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the utilizing rate of accumulated heat by expediting the movement of hydrogen gas to a heat accumulating vessel and obtain the heat accumulator for a solar heat utilizing room heating excellent in the operability and improved in the energy efficiency thereof by a method wherein in inflatable bag is provided in a hydrogen storing vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The heat accumulating vessel 1 accommodating compound of a metal and hydrogen, which is a heat accumulating material, and the hydrogen storing vessel 6 accommodating the compound 7 of a metal and hydrogen, which is a hydrogen storing material, are connected by a hydrogen transporting pipe 12. A heat collector 2 and a loader 3 are arranged in the heat accumulating vessel 1 so as to be able to effect a heat exchange. The inflatable bag 8 is provided within the hydrogen storing vessel 6 while the inflatable bag 8 is connected to a hydrogen storing vessel section 9 for inflating. The inflatable bag 8, in a contracted condition upon heat accumulating, is inflated upon heat emission, thereby increasing a pressure in the hydrogen storing vessel 6 and expediting the movement of the hydrogen gas to the heat accumulating vessel 1.
