Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the gain-temperature compensation of equipment without spoiling other characteristics sush as amplitude-frequency characteristics, by connect ing a heat-sensitive resistance element in parallel to the resistance attenuator of a gain varying circuit and by varying the extent of the attenuation of the resistance attenuator according to temperature. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate frequency signal from an input termial IN is amplified by an intermediate frequency amplifier 21, attenuated by a resistance attenuator 23 and outputted to an output terminal OUT. When it is attenuated by the resistance attenuator 23, the extent of the attenuation is varied by a heat-sensitive resistance element 22 connected in parallel to the attenuator 23 according to ambient temperature, thus compensating variation in gain to fluctuations of temperature with respect to the intermediate frequency amplifier 21.
