Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform sealing characterized by high hermetically sealing property, by applying low-melting-point glass on the part of the attaching surface for a mirror or glass plate beforehand, placing the mirror or glass plate on said surface, and sealing them by heating. CONSTITUTION:The low-melting-point glasses 18 and 19 are applied on the mirror attaching surfaces of metal pipes 16 and 17. The pipes 16 and 17 are arranged at both ends of the axis extended from a laser capillary tube 13. The mirrors 14 and 15 are attached to said metal pipes 16 and 17. Even though the thickness of the mirrors 14 and 15 is thin, the leak path is not changed. Since laser light transmission plane is used, the risk of leakage from the sealing part is small.
